Founded by Jerry Coffey Sr. and Everett Burrell, Coffey Automotive was built on simple but enduring principles: honesty, integrity, quality, and treating every customer with respect. Those values continue to guide everything we do today.
For decades, Jerry Coffey Sr. became a familiar face throughout the community. He dedicated his life to serving his customers with honesty and respect, earning the trust of generations of families who returned time and time again. Long before Jerry Jr. took over the business, his father had built a reputation that became the foundation of everything Coffey Automotive stands for today.
As Jerry Jr. joined his father in the business, the two worked side by side for years. Many longtime customers would walk through the doors asking for "Sr." or "Jr.," knowing they would be greeted by someone they trusted. Even today, many customers still affectionately call the current owner "Jr."—a reminder of the relationships and family legacy that have defined Coffee Automotive for generations.
Over the decades, our community has experienced tremendous change. Through economic downturns, changing neighborhoods, and even global challenges like the COVID-19 pandemic, Coffey Automotive has remained a trusted part of Northwest Atlanta. While the dealership evolved into a smaller, more personal operation when Jerry Jr. took over in 2012, the values established by his father have remained at the heart of everything we do.

When Jerry Coffey took over the family business in 2012, he wasn't starting something new—he was continuing a legacy that had been part of his life for decades. With more than 24 years of experience in the automotive industry, Jerry believes that the most important part of his work isn't selling cars—it's serving people.
He specializes in offering dependable, primarily one-owner pre-owned vehicles and takes pride in making sure every customer drives away with reliable transportation they can trust. For Jerry, every sale represents a relationship, not just a transaction.
